An attacker who can supply bytes to a lib0 decoder which means any peer that can open a socket, including before authentication reads adjacent process memory and, where the consumer echoes, stores or re-serves the decoded value, receives it back. This is patched in version 0.2.118 and 1.0.0-rc.33.","evidence":"cve:CVE-2026-102360","products":[{"name":{"value":"lib0","evidence":"/containers/cna/affected/0/product"},"prerequisites":[],"fixed_versions":[],"affected_versions":[]}],"severity":"high","structured":{"id":"CVE-2026-102360","aliases":["CVE-2026-102360"],"metrics":[{"cvssV3_1":{"scope":"CHANGED","version":"3.1","baseScore":8.6,"attackVector":"NETWORK","baseSeverity":"HIGH","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","integrityImpact":"NONE","userInteraction":"NONE","attackComplexity":"LOW","availabilityImpact":"NONE","privilegesRequired":"NONE","confidentialityImpact":"HIGH"}}],"affected":[{"vendor":"dmonad","product":"lib0","versions":[{"status":"affected","version":"<= 0.2.1-0.2.117"},{"status":"affected","version":"<= 1.0.0-rc.32"}]}],"modified":"2026-09-29T13:55:21.424Z","provider":"cve","references":["https://github.com/dmonad/lib0/security/advisories/GHSA-r5c8-rf4w-qrq8","https://github.com/dmonad/lib0/commit/425f28dc82c8df1b6f7e1ab20ea1a0a15a3c355f","https://github.com/dmonad/lib0/commit/c4c9db0b41346a33aff31a51f1f09c3a17757f10"],"provider_metadata":{"adp":[{"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment","metrics":[{"other":{"type":"ssvc","content":{"id":"CVE-2026-102360","role":"CISA Coordinator","options":[{"Exploitation":"poc"},{"Automatable":"yes"},{"Technical Impact":"partial"}],"version":"2.0.3","timestamp":"2026-09-29T13:54:57.965828Z"}}}],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/dmonad/lib0/security/advisories/GHSA-r5c8-rf4w-qrq8","tags":["exploit"]}],"providerMetadata":{"orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP","dateUpdated":"2026-09-29T13:55:21.424Z"}}],"cna":{"orgId":"a0819718-46f1-4df5-94e2-005712e83aaa","shortName":"GitHub_M","dateUpdated":"2026-09-29T13:11:55.735Z"}}},"related_cves":[{"value":"CVE-2026-102360","evidence":"/cveMetadata/cveId"}],"security_relevant":true,"severity_evidence":"/containers/cna/metrics"},"priority":{"reasons":["publisher_severity"],"severity":"high","linked_cves":[],"fix_available":false,"known_exploited":false,"publisher_severity":"high"},"context_update":false,"detail_url":"/events/3456"}],"next_after":3456,"next_before":3456}
